The Anuran Magazine Contest

The Anuran is the College's annual literary journal. It is designed as a published collection of poems and essays, the culmination of a yearly poetry and essay contest drawing on the talents of Isothermal and the surrounding communities.

General Magazine Rules

• Anuran is open to current employees and students enrolled at Isothermal from spring 2025 to spring 2026.
• Entries that won first place in last year’s contest may not be resubmitted; however, last year’s winners are welcome to submit new work.
• The judges reserve the right to reject any submission that does not meet submission guidelines.
• Only original pieces will be considered.
• The deadline for submissions is March 31, 2026.
