No Show Procedure

Students receive aid based on their semester enrollment status and the expectation that they will attend the classes for which they register. If this assumption is proven to be false, the student has been over paid as far as their financial aid is concerned.

The amount that has been over paid must be repaid immediately. Students will be informed in writing from Isothermal Community College as to the amount of overpayment. If your payment is not received by the due date listed on the notification letter, the amount owed will be turned over to the U.S. Department of Education for collection. This will render the student ineligible to receive any further financial aid until this debt has been paid-in-full.

If the No Show was entered in error and the student attended class(es), the student will need to meet with their instructor(s) immediately. The instructor will need to go to the Registrar's Office to correct the mistake. The student also needs to notify the financial aid office that an error has occurred and the actions that have been taken to correct the error.
