About Student Government Association: SGA

All students who pay the student activity fee are members of the Student Government Association (SGA). Students selected to serve on the SGA Executive Council assume an active and visible leadership role in shaping the student experience at Isothermal Community College (ICC).

SGA Senators serve as representatives of their peers, collaborate with student body leadership, support campus events and organizations, and advocate for student needs. Serving as a Senator is both an opportunity and a responsibility.

Eligibility Requirements

To serve on the SGA Senate, students must:

• Be enrolled in at least six credit hours during their term of service.
• Maintain a cumulative college GPA of 2.0 or higher.
• Be in good academic and student conduct standing with the college.
• Be enrolled at ICC for the duration of the term of office.
