SPINDALE (Oct. 29, 2020) — Country artist Matt Stillwell will give a free concert at Isothermal Community College to honor the nation’s veterans in a celebration capped by fireworks.
The annual Salute To Veterans concert will be at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 7.

The fireworks display will be at 6:30 after Stillwell’s acoustic performance..
Attendees are asked to stay by their cars once parked and to remain safely distanced from other patrons.
The first 100 cars will receive a bag with several giveaway items and information on veterans’ services in Rutherford County and at the college.
The event is sponsored by WNCW 88.7 FM, the Town of Rutherfordton, Cargo Transporters, Inc., Rutherford Weekly, and the Shelby Shopper.
