A placement assessment may be a requirement for a curriculum program and/or specific courses. The Admissions Office will determine if an applicant may be exempt from all, or portions of, the placement assessment in accordance with the North Carolina State Board of Community Colleges regulations, institutional requirements, or previous credit earned.
