The primary responsibility of Isothermal Community College faculty is instruction and support of learning-centered processes. Research and the publication of results are not responsibilities set forth in the faculty job description, and these activities should not be conducted if they impact adversely on the primary instructional responsibilities.
In the event grants are sought, which would include funds for compensation of services in any capacity, the provisions and conditions for such compensation must have the approval of the college president prior to the submission of the grant application.
