Course teaches the lifesaving skills of adult Hands-Only CPR, child CPR with breaths, adult and child AED use, infant CPR and relief of choking in an adult, child or infant. Skills are taught in a dynamic group environment by using the AHA’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which provides students with the most hands-on CPR practice time possible.
Family & Friends CPR is for people who want to learn CPR but do not need a course completion card in CPR for their job. This course is ideal for schools and students, new parents, grandparents, babysitters and others interested in learning how to save a life.

(Taught for medical professionals: First Responders, EMT, Paramedics, CNA’s, Nurses, etc.)
100% classroom training means students are with an AHA Instructor for their entire learning experience. These classroom courses are a good option for students who learn most effectively in a classroom environment with other students. These courses are taught by AHA Instructors, who administer both the cognitive portion of the course and hands on skills practice and testing.
AHA Blended Learning courses combine the flexibility of online training with in person skills practice and testing for CPR and other psychomotor skills. After students complete the cognitive portion of the course online at their own pace, they complete a hands-on Skills Session which includes practice and testing with an AHA Instructor or Voice Assisted Manikin (VAM). These courses include an Online Part 1 eLearning course, followed within 60 days by a Skills Session.
AHA eLearning courses give students the flexibility to learn at their own pace and on their own schedule, anywhere and anytime an internet connection is available. CPR and other psychomotor skills training must include a hands-on skills testing component. These online courses are self-directed, and do not require skills testing.
