Get Started With Career and College Promise

New Students

Step 1: Contact your high school representative (Counselor, Distance Learning Advisor, Career Development Coordinator or Homeschool Administrator) for information on eligibility and enrollment.

Step 2: Complete the Career and College Promise Application. After doing so, you will receive a welcome letter with information on how to set up your login for Moodle, email, and Patriot Port.

Step 3: Complete and submit the forms listed below:

  1. Permission Form
  2. Liability Form

Step 4: Submit a high school transcript which must meet the following criteria:

  • student grade level (9th, 10th, 11th and/or 12th grade) with academic year assigned and
  • high school courses completed and in progress and
  • unweighted, cumulative high school GPA (UGPA) and
  • expected graduation date

Additional high school transcripts must be provided to the college to verify the student is still enrolled in high school and making progress towards high school graduation for each term they are enrolled in CCP.

Step 5: Register for classes during designated time frames specified in the Academic Calendar. For additional information, please email ccp@isothermal.edu.

Step 6: Verify class(es) through the ICC Patriot Port account.

Step 7: Attend class and begin coursework.

Returning Students

To maintain eligibility for continued enrollment, a student must

  • Continue to make progress toward high school graduation, and
  • Maintain a 2.0 GPA in college coursework after completing two courses.
  • A student who falls below a 2.0 GPA after completing two college courses will be subject to the college’s policy for satisfactory academic progress.

Registration process if eligible for continued enrollment:

  1. Meet with your high school counselor (or designee) to discuss dual enrollment options
    • Homeschool students will meet with their homeschool administrator and setup an appointment with the homeschool coordinator. This meeting can be arranged by emailing ccp@isothermal.edu
  2. Meet with the ICC representative at your high schools designated time. Check with your high school for schedule availability. Home school students will schedule appointments with the homeschool coordinator by emailing ccp@isothermal.edu
  3. Registration will occur on the designated CCP registration day(s)
  4. Verify classes through the student's ICC Patriot Port account
  5. Attend class

High School Transcripts

State Board Code requires the submission of a high school transcript verifying student eligibility for a Career and College Promise College Transfer pathway and/or Career and Technical Education pathway. High school transcripts must include the following:
  • student grade level (9th, 10th, 11th and/or 12th grade) and
  • high school courses completed and in progress and
  • unweighted, cumulative high school GPA
Additional high school transcripts must be provided to the college to verify the student is still enrolled in high school and making progress towards high school graduation for each term they are enrolled in CCP.
