SAFE DRIVING

Instructor: Art Smith
The District Attorney, District Clerks of Court and District Court Judges want all of us to be safe drivers!  With their cooperation and a course drawn up by the Safety and Health Council of North Carolina, Isothermal Community College offers classes in the principles of safe driving.  If you have been charged with a minor traffic violation in Judicial District 29b (Henderson, Polk and Transylvania counties) you may elect to take this course. If you complete it two (2) working days before your scheduled court date, the District Attorney can reduce the charge so that you will have no insurance points, no drivers license points, and no court appearance.  You may also take the course just to refresh and renew your knowledge. The course is full of up-to-date, interesting information packed into one complete session.
Fee is $50.

Classes offered two times each month:
2nd Saturday, 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
4th Tuesday, 5:30-9:30 p.m.

Please call 828-894-3092 for registration information.
