Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP)
A Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) is a required part of our reaffirmation process with the Southern Association of Schools and Colleges (SACSCOC). It presents an opportunity for the College to identify one of its most pressing student learning needs and develop a well-crafted plan to address that need.
In 2005, Isothermal focused on improving the general education competencies and developed a strategy in capture learning in portfolios. The portfolio continues to be a part of many students' learning experience.
In 2015, the College presented a QEP called "Start Strong...Finish Stronger." Its goal is to empower first-time college students to overcome barriers to completion through orientation, ACA within the first two semesters, and dynamic advising.
The QEP process engages every aspect and every member of learning college. It represents a significant opportunity to focus creative energy and institutional resources on improving student learning outcomes.
