Summer 2018 Priority Deadline Information:

If you plan on using financial aid for payment of tuition for the summer semester, you MUST complete the steps below before beginning the registration process.  The priority deadline for summer is April 27, 2018.  Completing all steps for financial aid by this date ensures that your tuition and fees will be paid for prior to registration, if you are eligible.  If you take advantage of open registration March 19 - April 27, 2018, payment for summer classes will be due by April 27, 2018.  Your financial aid file must be complete by this time.  If you register during final registration on May 15, 2018, your file must be complete by May 15 in order to guarantee your classes do not get purged.  New students: please be sure to select the 2017-2018 FAFSA application for the summer.

Steps to complete your Financial Aid:

  1. Apply for residency and admission, submit all high school transcripts or GED scores, and complete the placement test, if needed.  Students should check with the Admissions Office for further requirements.
  2. Complete and submit the 2017-2018 FAFSA at least two weeks prior to payment being due. FAFSA applications are available online at
  3. Complete and return all requested paperwork sent from ICC following your FAFSA application. We will send an e-mail as well as mail a letter to you once we have downloaded your FAFSA requesting any missing info to complete your file.

Students who complete their file after the deadline will have their financial aid file reviewed and processed as quickly as possible, however we cannot ensure that your financial aid will be available at the start of the semester. Initially it is possible that you may be required to pay for your tuition and books out of pocket. If you are eligible once your file has been processed, you may qualify for a reimbursement.  For more information, please visit our Dates and Deadlines page.
