Nurse Aide I Refresher Course

This 48-hour course is designed to provide a review of the Nurse Aide I core content to prepare individuals who have been or are currently listed on a Nurse Aide I Registry, have successfully completed a state-approved training program, hold a state recognized health care credential from any state as or military personnel who have had medical/corpsman training to sit for the Nurse Aide I State Exam. The course must include the following Nurse Aide I curriculum content: Basic Nursing Skills, Personal Care Skills, Recognition of Mental Health and Social Service Needs, Care of Cognitively Impaired Residents, Basic Restorative Services and Resident Rights. Lab activities are required but clinical rotations are optional. Our Nurse Aide I Refresher programs is approved by the Division of Health Service Regulations (DHSR). Student must provide proof of registry listing within the past 48 months, and must have completed a state-approved training program previously.
