 Business and Industry Taskforce
In response to Goal 4 of the 2004-2006 College Plan, a proposal was submitted to the TALC Leadership Team to create a taskforce to enhance college support for potential, new, and existing business. The idea of the new taskforce was approved by TALC with immediate implementation.

The Business and Industry Taskforce will be committed to the following:

  1. Visit business and industry
  2. Keep faculty and staff informed about economic development
  3. Involve students in issues affecting business and industry
  4. Encourage increased community involvement by faculty and staff

Activities and objectives:

  1. Plant/Organization Tours
  2. Help faculty integrate real world concepts into curriculum
  3. Build valuable business relationships
  4. Help student make the leap from the academic world to the business world (application).
