TALC Home	Learning Strategies In October 2001, the Learning Communities and Cooperative Learning taskforces merged to form the Learning Strategies Taskforce. This taskforce explores strategies for improving learning through the following: steers our efforts to train new faculty in learning strategies shares cooperative learning techniques serves as planning partners for newly trained faculty and staff serves as a resource by demonstrating the techniques meets regularly to discuss ways to support our learning efforts acknowledge contributions to the learning college via the Golden Apple Award implementation of “Learning Communities" mentoring and developing future leadership skills to sustain the learning college serves as a resource for global education efforts Global Awareness Round Table (Jan 10, 2010) Global Education Plan Fall 2008 Convocation Global Awareness activities 11-18-2009: The winner of the Global Awareness web site competition is Site #3, Created by Robert Daniels
