The TALC ESP Taskforce was formed in January 1999 and its charge includes:

• reviewing institutional processes and their support of our learning initiative

• improving policies, procedures, and guidelines that are supportive of learning

• guiding institutional priorities through informed change

• enhancing systems and processes

• removing barriers to student success

• strengthening independence of students

• identifying, prioritizing, and/or correcting institutional practices or policies that reduce staff effectiveness
