An open house was held
this week at the Isothermal Polk Campus. Visitors to the event
enjoyed informative displays from phlebotomy students along with
paintings and photography from students in the art programs. In a
brief opening ceremony, Jimmie Lynn Dykes of Gowensville, S.C., was
recognized for her design of the new logo for the quarterly schedule
book for the campus. Also on hand was Phil Ruff, an adult high
school instructor who performed his song, "Matthew, Mark, Luke and
John." Ruff's composition was recently awarded first place in the
Gospel Division of the Chris Austin Songwriting Contest at Merlefest.
