At Isothermal Community College, we want your experience with us to be rewarding, enriching, positive and always, enjoyable and safe. A few safety tips while you are on-campus should help make your college career or your campus visits with us a little safer. Please take a moment to read these ‘Safety Tips’ and try to remember to utilize them any time you are here at Isothermal or anywhere in your travels.

· BE ALERT & AWARE OF YOUR SURROUNDINGS

· WALK IN GROUPS

· STAY AWAY FROM LESS TRAVELED AND DARKENED AREAS

· TRY TO PARK AND WALK ONLY IN LIGHTED AREAS

· GO FOR HELP IN A FAMILIAR PLACE ON-CAMPUS AND CALL ‘911’ IF YOU NEED EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE (Don’t forget to dial ‘9’ for an outside line)

· AVOID CAMPUS WHEN CLASSES ARE NOT IN SESSION AND OFFICES ARE NOT OPEN, INCLUDING EARLY MORNING AND LATE EVENING

· MONITOR PERSONAL POSSESSIONS AND ESPECIALLY POCKETBOOKS, WALLETS & KEYS
