At Isothermal Community College, we not only promote education, we want all our students to know we also endorse and promote safety and security across our entire campus. Should you ever feel endangered or threatened at any time while on-campus, we ask that you immediately contact security at Isothermal and/or an instructor or employee of the college for assistance. You should always report any threatening activity to local law enforcement by dialing 911. The following tips are not a guarantee, but they can help reduce the odds. Despite all this, if a person is ever raped, the responsibility ALWAYS lies with the aggressor, not the victim. Forgetting to lock a door is not a crime. Trusting a friend is not a crime. Walking alone is not a crime. RAPE IS A CRIME Tips on how to be more Aware and Informed to help you from becoming a victim of rape or other assaults
