Polly Wolly Doodle is a quiltwork of traditional Southern Songs & Stories that reflect the unique culture of the South and its folk roots.  Structured as a circle dance, it is framed by a story about young people courting at the dance, which includes many familiar tunes such as "Polly Wolly Doodle", "Froggy Went a Courtin" and others, which come to life as the background stories are acted out.  The show also features original music and stories about such characters as Jack and the Giant and Thumbelina.  Polly Wolly Doodle is a rub tickling look at the unique musical heritage of our region.
