This exciting and popular Broadway musical was written by composer Andrew Lloyd Weber.  The Biblical saga of Joseph and his coat of man colors come to vibrant life in this delightful musical parable.  Joseph his father's favorite son, is a boy blessed with prophetic dreams.  He is sold into slavery by his jealous brothers and taken to Egypt.  When news of Joseph's gift to interpret dreams reaches the Pharaoh (wryly and riotously depicted as Elvis), Joseph is well on his way to becoming second in command.  Eventually his brothers, having suffered greatly, unknowingly find themselves groveling at the feet of the brother they betrayed but no longer recognize.  After testing their integrity, Joseph reveals himself leading to a heartfelt reconciliation of the sons of Israel.  Set to an engaging cornucopia of musical styles, from country-western and calypso to pop and rock 'n' roll, this Old Testament tale emerges both timely and timeless.

The Lettermen
Saturday, May 29, 2010
7:30
pm

The Lettermen
are Tony Butala, Donovan Tea, and Mark Preston, who together create a sound somewhere between a big band vocal group and early Rhythm and Blues. The Lettermen have been part of America’s music scene for over forty-five years. You may have fallen in love to “Put Your Head On My Shoulder” and “When I Fall In Love,” or perhaps you watched them on Dick Clark’s American Bandstand performing “Going Out of My Head/ Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” or “Hurt So Bad”. These songs, and others, established The Lettermen as the most romantic singing group of the ‘60s.

Adult: $20 & $25
Youth: $5 & $7
