Purpose of the Program
The purposes of the Foothills Nursing Consortium Associate Degree Nursing Program are four fold:
- The program will produce nursing graduates annually to meet the needs of the area health care facilities.
- The program will provide accessibility for area residents to an affordable registered nursing education program.
- The program will provide the necessary educational opportunities for LPNs to become RNs and still remain in the work force.
- By producing more qualified intermediate level health care workers, the program will help to improve the present health care delivery system and increase the availability of adequate health care to area residents.
