Employees With Disabilities
I. GENERAL POLICY
Isothermal Community College (“College”) is committed to providing access to facilities and reasonable accommodations in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (“ADA”) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (“Section 504”). The College does not discriminate against employees or applicants on the grounds of race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin or disability. This policy of non-discrimination covers participation in all programs, support services and activities.
It is the responsibility of the employee with a disability to provide documentation of the disability. The documentation must certify that the disability creates a substantial limitation of one or more major life activities.
The College has designated a coordinator to handle issues related to the ADA and Section 504 for employees. All requests for reasonable accommodations, auxiliary communication aids and services, alternative accessible formats for notices, policies and other information as well as complaints regarding the College’s ADA program should be directed to the following:

II. COMPLAINT PROCEDURE
Complaints of alleged illegal discrimination by the College may be filed by College employees and applicants by using the Employee Grievance Policy.
