    Isothermal Community College provides the college community with a variety of opportunities for firsthand experience of expressions of our own and other cultures via multiple performances and activities throughout the year.

Except for specified events, all Cultural Events performances are free of charge and open to the college community.

March 6, 2008 at 7:00 pm, Pat Mendoza and Miguel Espinoza will perform in the Library Auditorium.  From 10:00 am to 12:00 pm during that day, Pat will conduct a workshop for Isothermal's Broadcasting students; at the same time, Miguel will give a guitar workshop for interested Isothermal students in the music room of the Student Center.

March 7, 2008 at 7:00 pm, Pat Mendoza and Miguel Espinoza will perform at the Polk County campus.

March 14, 2008 at 6:30 pm, we will present the annual Poetry Slam in the lobby of the Foundation.  Along with poetry performed by people from the college and community, there will be a display of photographs by Giuliana Riley and her students, and graphic arts by Cathy Alexander's students.

April 5, 2008, the annual Writer's Workshop will be held in the Business Sciences Building.

April 17, 2008 (Sports Day) at 12:00 to 1:00, the Mountain Dragons will perform a Lion Dance through the lunchtime crowd, and give a martial arts demonstration afterward.
 
April 18, 2008
at 7:30 pm, Judson Mitcham will speak in the Library Auditorium as this year's author for the annual Spratt Series.

May 3, 2008 at 3:00 pm, the Symphony of Rutherford County will perform at the Foundation.
