NURSE AIDE I REFRESHER
 

This class is to prepare you to take the NACES (State) testing for written and skills
so you can get on the N.C. Nurse Aide Registry.

 

We are not currently taking names for CNA I Refresher

The classes are normally Tuesdays and Thursdays for 4 - 5 weeks, for a total of
40 hours in class and laboratory.  The classes are normally from 8:30am to 12:30pm in the Cedar Room, Foundation Building.
*Our next classes will be available in 2010*

 

  You can use any up to date Nurse Aide I textbook for reading and review. 
Your Instructor will give you a workbook with the skills.

Nurse Aide II Information
 

We are not currently taking names for CNA II at this time

Please call in August, 2009 for more information
 

Before we can accept a name for the interest list, you must have a High School Diploma or GED, and be a certified Nurse Aide I, listed on the NC Nurse Aide Registry in good standing for at least three months.
 

Classes are normally held on Tuesday & Thursday mornings, 8:30 am - 12:30 pm
 

*Evening classes possibly scheduled*
 

The next available class will begin in late September, 2009

Before one can be accepted into this class, the student must first have completed the CASAS Reading test or supplied us with documentation proving they are exempt from the test.

Our CNA classes are generally scheduled as follows:

  • Morning Classes
    8:30am-12:30pm Mon., Wed., Fri.  for 14 weeks
  • Afternoon Classes
    1-5 pm Mon.-Thurs. for 12 weeks
  • Evening Classes
    5:15-9:15 Mon., Wed. for 18 weeks
