NURSE AIDE I REFRESHER

This class is to prepare you to take the NACES (State) testing for written and skills
so you can get on the N.C. Nurse Aide Registry.

 

We are currently taking names for CNA I Refresher

The classes are normally Tuesdays and Thursdays for 4 - 5 weeks, for a total of
40 hours in class and laboratory.  The classes are normally from 8:30am to 12:30pm in the Cedar Room, Foundation Building.

 

The fee is $60

  You can use any up to date Nurse Aide I textbook for reading and review. 
Your Instructor will give you a workbook with the skills.

Nurse Aide II Information

We are not currently accepting names at this time -
We will have more information available in early June.

Before we can accept a name for the interest list, you must have a High School Diploma or GED, and be a certified Nurse Aide I, listed on the NC Nurse Aide Registry in good standing.

Classes are normally held on Tuesday & Thursday mornings,
8:30 am - 12:30 pm

Evening Classes - Mid July

Before we can accept a name for the interest list, the student must first have completed the CASAS Reading test or supplied us with documentation proving they are exempt from the test.

The CASAS Test will be given by appointment only.

Our CNA classes are generally scheduled as follows:

  • Morning Classes
    8:30am-12:30pm Mon., Wed., Fri.  for 14 weeks

  • Afternoon Classes
    1-5 pm Mon.-Thurs. for 12 weeks

  • Evening Classes
    5:15-9:15 Mon., Wed. for 18 weeks

Registration Fee:  $65       
Cost of Books:  approx. $85
Final Test: approx. $92
