Health Sciences Information Meetings are held for those who want to learn more about the programs or have specific questions. These programs are held periodically to avoid interference with regular academic classes. The Foothills Nursing Consortium Associate Degree in Nursing and Surgical Tech programs give strong preference to residents of Cleveland, McDowell, Polk and Rutherford Counties. The Practical Nursing curriculum at Isothermal Community College prepares individuals with the knowledge and skills to provide nursing care to children and adults.

ONE PLUS ONE PROGRAMS Physical Therapy Assistant, Dental Hygiene, and Occupational Therapy Assistant Through an agreement with Greenville Technical College, a limited number of Isothermal students can enter these vital health care programs. These programs are arranged as two separate components called One Plus One (1+1). The first component is taken at Isothermal and the second at Greenville Tech.
