The Arts and Sciences Division offers programs that lead to an Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree. Graduates from Isothermal with AA/AS degrees transfer successfully to four-year colleges and universities. The faculty in Arts and Sciences are fully qualified and ready to guide your development as you prepare to transfer to a four-year college. |
|
| A comprehensive articulation agreement between the North Carolina Community College System and the North Carolina University System enhances the transfer process. The agreement states that completion of the general educational core toward an A.A. or A.S. degree at Isothermal will satisfy the general education requirements at the universities. Further, it states that earning an A.A. or A.S. degree in an ICC pre-professional program will ensure junior-level status when admitted to the university. | |
| Isothermal Community College is also partnered with Appalachian State University in the Appalachian Learning Alliance. The Alliance is a partnership between Appalachian State University and ten regional community colleges in western North Carolina. It is specifically designed to meet identified baccalaureate and graduate degree needs by providing degree-completion programs on the community college campuses. For more information on current program offerings and contact information, see the web pages at Appalachian Learning Alliance. | |
