Purge/Deregistration Procedures  

Early Registration Week – Students who have not paid tuition will be purged the Monday after early registration week is over. These students will be required to re-register. As a general rule, tuition is due the Friday of the week the student registered. Current students who are registering for fall term during the summer early registration will not be purged from the fall term but will be required to pay fall tuition during early registration in July.  

Registration – Students who have not paid tuition will be purged after schedule adjustments and before 2nd rolls are printed. Faculty will receive 2nd rolls and a list of purged students. Faculty will be required to make a copy of and send back any roll that has a student attending but not on the roll. Returned rolls must have the name of the student attending and not on the roll plus the instructor’s signature. Purged students will be required to go to the Student Affairs Office to re-register and must be prepared to pay tuition.  

Census Date (10% date) – No student will be added after the census date. Non-registered, non-paid students and faculty of the course(s) involved will be notified that the student must stop attending the class(es).  

With the new purge procedures, it is critical that all students go to the Business Office when they register or when a class is added to their schedule.
