Both adult high school and High School Equivalency programs are offered at the Isothermal’s Polk Center.
The adult education program at ICC Polk Center enables students to improve math and reading skills and to work toward completing the High School Equivalency or the online high school diploma. Students between the ages of 16 and 18 years of age must complete a minor application before enrolling. Students 18 and older may enroll immediately.

Expectations of Online Students:
- Students must achieve a minimum placement test score to be eligible.
- Must work a minimum of ten hours per week.
- Must be available to visit either Spindale or Polk campus to re-register each semester and to progress test periodically.
- Failure to follow the above expectations may result in being removed from the online program.
